Christophe, a thirty-year-old unemployed aeronautical engineer, and Stéphane, a social activist involved in theater, are both close friends and roommates. Their friendship is put to the test when they decide to work together on a documentary project about employment.
Christophe agrees to let Stéphane record his job search until he finds work. Relentlessly, Stéphane follows Christophe with his video camera, from job interviews to career seminars. But the project drags on.
