Rêveuses de villes transports us to the heart of our ever-changing urban environments to meet four exceptional architects, exemplary women, pioneers who—for decades—have been working, observing, and shaping the city of today and tomorrow.
While architecture and urban planning enthusiasts are already familiar with Phyllis Lambert, Blanche Lemco van Ginkel, Denise Scott Brown, and Cornelia Hahn Oberlander, these inspiring women remain largely unknown to the general public. Yet they have collaborated with some of the greatest architects of our time—Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn—and have left visible traces of their passage and their own work in several cities in Europe and America.
