A documentary film investigating the past adventures and current circumstances of five prisoners on the run, who for a season were the true interpreters of the characters in “En attendant Godot .” A reinterpretation of Samuel Beckett's play by ordinary men, through the extraordinary circumstances of their lives.


A puzzle film that reconstructs an unusual news item: about ten years ago in Sweden, five inmates at Kumla maximum security prison were introduced to the world of Samuel Beckett by Swedish actor and theater director Jan Jonson. Their performance, and the experience itself, were a success. But on the evening of the public premiere at the Göteborg Theater, the prisoners escaped...
